Help customers focus on the product by keeping merchandise displays limited to 3 features.  Bay Tree Bookstore in Santa Cruz has the concept down pat with this feature of ¼ zip sweatshirts, cute “banana slug” plush (their mascot!) and baseball hats.  The tiered dish for small collectibles is icing on the cake and doesn’t detract from the simplicity of the assortment.
