2009 CAMEX / C2O Co-Location Highlights

Congratulations to Billie French, North Idaho College for winning the $500 "Tammy Lotzer Memorial Scholarship" for the 2010 Connect2One Annual Meeting and CAMEX Show in Orlando, FL.

CAMEX 2009 in Anaheim was a success!

Maintaining the co-location continues to make members happy. Connect2One buyers took advantage of the savings again this year in Anaheim at the eighth CAMEX Connect2One co-location event.

Connect2One member participation remains at the top of our list of highlights from this joint event as:

• Over 350 members registered for the C2O Education Sessions.
• 15 new stores signed on as C2O members in Anaheim this year.
• 10 vendor partner presentations supplemented the C2O In-Depth Reviews.
• Purple ribbons on "Paula's Picks" and red ribbons on "Michelle's Best Buys" gleamed brightly on back-to-school must-haves on the tradeshow floor.
• Those who sent in their RSVP and attended our C2O Education Day received one of our now famous Goody Bags. This year it was a khaki tote bag from Everest, and as always fully loaded with products courtesy of our vendor partners!
• Rep Rally and Round table discussion groups closed this year's Education Day with lively and productive discussions filling the air.

Cassie Wherry, Bookstore Manager, Grinnell College Bookstore said, “If Connect2One was not with CAMEX, I could not attend. Thanks for the great benefits and industry insights. I plan to attend Connect2One Education Day in Orlando in 2010.” Another comment from Jean Aguirre, General Manager, UC Davis Bookstore, “ Connect2One is the reason I came to CAMEX prior to the trade show.”

Plan now to attend the C2O Education Day in Orlando on Thursday, March 13, 2010.
