Advocacy Articles Let's Talk Advocacy In the next few weeks, there are three extremely important meetings regarding issues related to the future of your store, including discussions on the value of the institutional store model and institutional store "advocacy." Executive Director Dick Welsh, Director of Membership and Communication Lynne Williams, and I will be attending ConTEXT in Long Beach. We will also be attending CAMEX in New Orleans with other members of the Connect2One staff, and of course we will be at your service at the Connect2One Annual Meeting and Buying Show in Las Vegas. During those meetings, there are opportunities for you to meet with your colleagues during various roundtables and sessions that relate to the value of the institutional store including the following. Connect2One Annual Meeting CAMEX At all three meetings, we will be available to discuss in confidence specific issues regarding the future of your store, including the formulation of a plan of attack to insure your store stays institutional. Don't wait until it is too late. Contact us as at anytime because no issue is too small to discuss and we are here to serve you, the members of Connect2One! To find us at ConTEXT, visit the Nebraska Book Company/College Book Company of California booth. At CAMEX and Connect2One we will be at the Connect2One booth. See you in Long Beach or Las Vegas or New Orleans — or maybe all three! |
