Connect2One Undertakes Lease Price Survey

Between August and October, the Connect2One staff will be conducting research comparing retail prices in independent bookstores versus lease operations. In 1999, Connect2One undertook a similar endeavor with the data representing a strong argument in the advocacy proposition. Clearly the survey demonstrated the significantly higher price models used in lease operations.

We are enlisting your assistance in this research by providing us with pricing information in your store. By participating in this study you will be performing a great service to your fellow independent bookstore managers who are fighting off lease operations. Store managers and directors will have received survey forms in the mail by October 1st.
