We talked with a professor yesterday regarding a Biology bundle (Germann, Principles of Human Physiology w/CD) he ordered and informed him that all of the components could be purchased separately. We told him that if he went with just the text w/CD and purchased the interactive card separately then we would be able to buy the text back from the student next semester and get the interactive card from the publisher.

His response was that since the pub had sent him a desk copy of the bundle he didn't know you could do it any other way. He said he was very happy "to be educated," as he was a new professor and had no idea that pubs were doing this kind of thing. He wanted to save the student money, so he opted to go with just the book and interactive card.
